Maryland Insurance coverage Commissioner Marie Grant appointed Patricia Dorn as affiliate commissioner for client schooling and advocacy on the Maryland Insurance coverage Administration.
Dorn, who has served on the Maryland Insurance coverage Administration since 2012, will lead the Client Training and Advocacy Unit (CEAU), which is tasked with educating Maryland residents about insurance coverage merchandise and serving to Marylanders perceive their rights and obligations beneath the phrases of their insurance coverage insurance policies. Since 2023, Dorn has served as medical health insurance administrator for the Well being Protection Help Crew (H-CAT).
