Federal officers will examine a commuter prepare fireplace in Philadelphia this week by which greater than 300 passengers have been safely evacuated.
The Nationwide Transportation Security Board introduced Friday that it’s going to look into the blaze, which was reported about 6 p.m. Thursday on a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority prepare on the Wilmington/Newark Line.
The fireplace apparently began underneath the primary automotive of the six-car prepare and flames quickly engulfed that automotive as SEPTA crews rapidly bought all of the passengers to security, the company mentioned.
The roughly 325 passengers aboard the prepare have been later transferred onto shuttle buses that took them to all of the prepare’s scheduled stops. No accidents have been reported.
The reason for the hearth remained underneath investigation Friday.
