North Carolina authorities charged a lady with insurance coverage fraud after studying that she made slip-and-fall claims at a number of grocery shops within the space.
Jackie Kay Lynch, 61, of Wilson, east of Raleigh, filed a $1,000 declare in August 2024 with Utica Nationwide Insurance coverage, stating that she had been injured when she fell at a retailer in Wilson, the North Carolina Division of Insurance coverage stated in information launch.
Investigators discovered that Lynch had made related claims at eight Piggly Wiggly shops, in search of damages, DOI famous.
The lady was arrested earlier this month and was held on the Wilson County Detention Middle.
